Stamford man ticketed in New Year’s morning accidentA 49-year-old Stamford man suffered minor injuries early Wednesday morning when he apparently lost control of his sport utility vehicle and tumbled into the side of a Tresser Boulevard office building. Stamford Fire & Rescue firefighters used hydraulic tools, cables and saws to free Curtis Hawkins of Severance Drive from the overturned 2008 Ford Edge.
