Firefighters extinguish an exterior fire on a Stamford home

At 22:14hrs, Belltown and Stamford Firefighters responded to 39 Fawn Dr for a report of the “side of a house on fire”. The residents were home at the time and called 911. E-43 arrived on scene 1st due in under 4 minutes, deployed a hose line and was able to knock down the fire quickly before it made entry into the home. Additional Stamford Fire units also responded and assisted with overhauling the exterior of the home, checking for any extension inside, and removing smoke from the residence.

The fire is under investigation with the Stamford Fire Marshal Office. No residents or firefighters were injured at the incident.
