To Volunteer, Call Your Local Volunteer Fire Company, Not 911

The poster below is being circulated in and around Stamford by members of the “Big 5 Volunteer Fire Departments”. If you are interested in volunteering in one of the five fire departments mentioned in the poster, you should call those fire departments, not 911. The poster uses a common symbol for 911 as a design element, but may be misinterpreted as the number to call if you are interested in volunteering.
